She works at the nexus of race, culture and gender theory, examining themes of exclusion and intersectionality in historical and contemporary feminist theory. Emma is the Senior Project Coordinator of Fire to Flourish's National Indigenous Disaster Resilience program, a project exploring Indigenous leadership in the face of natural hazards intensified by climate crisis.
